Missing plane found crashed

Myagdi, Feb 24: The plane that had gone out of contact some minutes later after the take-off has been found crashed near Soleghopte cliff at Dana VDC-2 in Myagdi.
The plane belonging to Tara Airs that took off for Jomsom from Pokhara at 7:50 am in the morning today had gone out of contact some minutes later.
The total 23 people including aircraft crews had boarded the plane.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Myagdi, Bishwaraj Khadka, told the National News Agency (RSS) that a team of police deployed by Dana Police Post and led by police constable Phul Kumar Thapa and local leader Nabin Khadka spotted the aircraft in crashed condition after five hours of the passenger plane losing contact with the tower.
A team comprising DSP Khadka and Chief District Officer (CDO) of Myagdi, Sagarmani Pathak among others has left for the plane crash site for rescue.
It takes four hours of walk from Dana in Myagdi to reach the incident site. RSS
