A second tiger shark in the space of a week was caught and released at Warnbro Beach, then dragged back to deeper water on Wednesday, January 11. Two fishermen were seen struggling to remove a hook from the shark’s mouth before one of them bravely assisted the sea creature in returning to the ocean. Another shark, believed to be the same breed, was caught on Monday, January 2. Sharks are a group of fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head.
